Anyone seeking safety well beyond the level required by law will find comprehensive support at Triowind. Based in Friedrichsholm, the specialists provide customized training for primarily companies in the wind energy sector—across Europe and in China—covering onshore and offshore wind turbines, electrical instruction, and inspections in accordance with the German Industrial Safety Ordinance (Betriebssicherheitsverordnung).

With continuously updated, tailored training concepts, qualifications, and inspections, Triowind—founded in 2006—ensures the highest possible level of occupational safety at wind turbines in Germany, Europe, and China.

Proven and practical—on land, on water, and at great heights

Triowind GmbH trains around 1,300 employees each year from manufacturers, service providers, suppliers, asset managers, and many others, in line with VDSI and GWO standards as well as other relevant regulations. Its portfolio includes training courses, rescue concepts, support in the development of new installations, the provision of occupational safety specialists, and electrical instruction for a wide range of companies. Triowind not only applies the required training and safety standards; as part of the Renewable Energy working group within the VDSI, it has already developed eleven VDSI modules together with leading manufacturers, service providers, and energy suppliers to standardize occupational safety training in wind energy. Core topics such as rescue training, electrical instruction, hazardous substances, fire protection, driving safety, and more have been newly defined.

Expert inspections of safety-relevant wind turbine components

To meet the legal requirements under Sections 10 (Inspection) and 11 (Documentation) of the Industrial Safety Ordinance—mandatory for all operators—Triowind Prüfdienst GmbH conducts the required expert inspections of safety-relevant wind turbine components, including full documentation, at more than 1,000 turbines on site each year. This includes inspection of ladders and fall protection systems, chain and rope hoists, cranes, access systems, rescue equipment, fire extinguishers, and personal protective equipment against falls. To carry out these tasks, Triowind employees complete extensive training in advance.

Since 2006, Triowind has stood for safety in the wind industry. More than 200 companies trust its many years of experience in wind energy and occupational safety. With continuously updated, individualized training concepts, qualifications, and inspections, Triowind ensures optimal occupational safety in Germany, Europe, and worldwide. Triowind GmbH is certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001.
